JULY 11, 2011 QUITE THE LOOKER
It's been awhile since I've written much in here, and haven't written much at all. We got back yesterday from our trip to DC for Travis's wedding. Willie was not much fun in the car, but none of the kids were so oh well. We'll hopefully get better at this road trip stuff. Our car is not that comfortable, so that doesn't help.
All the aunts and uncles (my brothers and sisters) thought Willie was such a cute little boy. It was good to hear because we always look at the kids and see "troublemaker" all the time. It's good to be distracted and remember the more positive side. ;) I thought Willie was quite handsome though too, especially at the wedding. Funny, when he actually has some nice clothes on, combs his hair, and gets cleaned up a little- he's quite the looker. ;) It was great to see him out of his pajamas (his usual choice of attire for the day) and looking sharp.
MARCH 2, 2011 FUNNY PRAYER
Last night Willie was saying things that kept me cracking up. I can't remember all of the little things now, but I remember he was saying our dinner prayer and he prayed that "President Monson will come down in the helicopter soon and give us all a present." Where in the world did that come from? I have no idea. :)
Willie is going through kind of a yucky post-toddler, whiney phase. I know it's probably just all the adjustments he's been hit with the last month. He's really been frustrating me. His potty training seems to be going through (another) reveresion. The blessing is he seems to be in control when we're out and about- probably because I have regular planned potty stops. But when we've been home, he just lets himself slip into having accidents whenever. *sigh* I'm desperately trying to think of something to help him get over this.
